Hayley Alexander
Chief Executive
After an early career in social work and social services management, Hayley moved into the family business as key contract manager for Shell in 2002. She remained in the management of Alexander Group until 2010. After maternity leave, she returned as a Director to Chair the board. She now holds the role of fulltime Chief Executive providing strategic direction and leadership to the company.
John Alexander
Founder & Director
John is the founder of Alexander Group and he remains to this day in a senior leadership and governance role providing guidance on technical issues and researching projects. He provides visual leadership to all staff and carries the legacy of the company.
Matt Lynch
Chief Operating Officer
Matt brings a strong background of warehousing and logistics to his role of Chief Operating Officer for Alexander Group, having held GM and Director roles both locally and globally for companies such as Bidvest, CEVA Logistics and Agility Logistics.
Matt brings a sharp focus on client needs and excellence in operations, combined with strong business development capabilities and commercial acumen - irreplaceable experience in finding our customers' advantage every day.
Rod Alexander
Fleet & Logistics Manager
Since starting with the company in 1990, Rod has held various management roles and, significantly, established the Marlborough ISO depot and intermodal road-coastal shipping network.
Rod’s technical expertise is vast, obtaining maximum efficiencies in a transport operation. In early 2015, he joined Alexander Gases to improve the management of maintenance and service provider accountability, as well as managing all aspects of fleet rotation and procurement.
Kim Holder
HR & Training Manager
No ordinary HR professional, Kim has extensive global business development and operational management experience, including in the aviation industry. A skilled trainer and coach, Kim is responsible for our drivers’ career development, working closely with our driver trainers and supervisors.
Yashmeeta Garib
General Manager Finance
In her role as General Manager Finance, Yashmeeta holds years of robust commercial, management and financial experience under her belt in the transport and logistics category. A chartered accountant, her career as a Senior Analyst, Management Accountant and Senior Commercial Manager means Yashmeeta brings extensive business partnering capabilities to the Group, with the view of cost saving initiatives and customer service being paramount.
Paul Hintz
National Health, Safety & Compliance Manager
Paul has worked in the transport industry for over 30 years most recently as Contract Manager for a national fuel distribution contract. He has been General Manager at Alexander Gases since 2016 and lead the transition of the VCH contract into Alexander Gases.
While leading the Caltex contract under a previous employer he achieved zero incidents in 2016 across his fleet of 35 fuel tankers. Paul is driven and committed and aims for the highest possible standards in the dangerous goods industry.
